I had little time to cook dinner so I went with something everyone will eat:

I have Burger buns and I want to make simple french toast out of them please provide a recipe

Simple French Toast Burger Buns

Ingredients:

  • 2 burger buns, halved (4 halves total)

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Butter for frying

  • Maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fruit for topping (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar (if using), and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  2. Dip the Buns: Dip each burger bun half into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are evenly coated. Let them soak for 20-30 seconds on each side.

  3. Heat the Pan: Melt a small amount of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the Buns: Place the soaked bun halves in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve: Serve your French toast buns warm, topped with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit as desired.
